Our Staff
Our Nursery Director, Judi, has been a qualified nursery nurse since 1981, and since then has gained a wide range of professional experience of working with children. Judi is responsible for overall standards in the nursery. Her daughter attends the nursery as a customer.
Our Deputy Manager, who also looks after our Baby and Toddler Rooms, is Natalie. Natalie qualified as a nursery nurse in 1993 and, in addition to her nursery experience, has managed a crèche. She is interested in child development and has received special training in child observation.
Although Emma is our newest Room Leader, her post-qualification experience of caring for, and developing, children stretches back to 1997, and more recently has included bringing up her own son (another of our customers). Emma has special responsibility for preparing our older children to start school.
Our other staff have been carefully selected for their enthusiasm, commitment to providing high quality childcare, technical knowledge, maturity and breadth of experience. All our staff hold childcare qualifications or are actively working towards them. It is also our policy that all staff working with children undergo first aid training including the special knowledge needed for helping babies and children.
