Fees
Fees are based on the age of the child and the number of mornings and afternoons that they attend. The current fee schedule is available from the Nursery Manager.
Although our high ratio of staff to children, and the high proportion of our staff who hold childcare qualifications means that our service will never be "cheap", we aim to offer a very high standard of care at a price that is competitive when compared with other local nurseries.
The parents of most children who are over 3 will also benefit from the Nursery Education Grant, which can reduce the fees by up to £140 per month.
Many parents also save both tax and national insurance on much of their fees, by having their employer pay part of their salary as a childcare voucher.
In addition, many working parents are entitled to the childcare component of the working tax credit system for which our fees qualify. More details are available at the Inland Revenue tax credit website or by calling 0845 300 3900 (textphone 0845 300 3909).
Finally some large public employers such as the NHS have schemes that contribute towards the costs of childcare for employees undergoing specific long-term training.
